At Blossom Pole Fitness & Dance Studio, a diverse range of classes caters to pole dancers and athletes of various skill levels. Our core classes focus on essential skills for advancing dancers, suggesting a minimum attendance of 1 core class weekly, complemented by a selection of general curriculum classes for optimal performance. Before enrollment, ensure you meet the prerequisites and the specified core level for each class.
Core Class Descriptions
Introduction to Pole:
Prerequisite: None
Embark on your journey with Intro to Pole, a supportive and attentive class introducing the fundamental aspects of pole dance. No prior experience is required for this class, serving as the perfect starting point for aspiring pole dancers.
Attire: Opt for shorts or leggings paired with a tank top or t-shirt. Feel free to bring socks if desired.
Avoid wearing: Lotion, rings, metal watches, or bracelets.
Pole Level 1:
Prerequisite: Introduction to Pole
Students in Pole Level 1 will learn basic two-handed spins, floor transitions, climbing techniques, and pole sits. The classes also incorporate comprehensive full-body conditioning to help students build strength for climbing and supporting their body weight.
Pole Level 2:
Prerequisite: Pole Level 1
In Pole Level 2, students advance by learning more complex moves on and off the pole. This level introduces inversions, emphasizing safe and consistent execution of basic inversions from the floor through conditioning and practice.
Pole Level 3:
Prerequisite: Pole Level 2
Focus in Pole Level 3 shifts towards comfortability with upside-down positions. Students learn solidifying inverts on the pole, accompanied by conditioning exercises that facilitate safe aerial inversions, shoulder mounts, and upside-down bracket holds. Mastery of moves demands increased flexibility and mobility.
Pole Level 4:
Prerequisite: Pole Level 3
Designed for adept students comfortable with basic aerial inverts and floor-based shoulder mounts, Pole Level 4 introduces challenging combinations, transitions, and tricks. The class encompasses a mix of advanced moves requiring heightened levels of strength and flexibility, including ayesha preparations and other two-point contact maneuvers.

Sensual Flow
Prerequisite:Intro to Pole
In this course we will explore our sensuality and divine feminine energy. This course will use the power of tantric breath, sensual movement, touch play exploration, womb activation and more to build love for your temple, self, and increased confidence of your body.Overall, this course fuses yoga, circularized sensual movement and dance altogether. Expect to stretch, tone and power, release, dance and restore your divine feminine energy as well as connect to your soul’s wisdom through meditation, soulbody awareness and soul exploration.This is a beginner's friendly course which uses mostly gentle, fluid movement, sensual floor work, yin yoga and restoration yoga.
Pathways
Prerequisite:Intro to Pole
Bring out your pole dancing heels! Emphasizing seamless transitions between poses, spins, and floorwork, this class will enhance fluidity and balance, guiding students to move gracefully and confidently in heels. This class will include drills for footwork, balance, and stability while in your pole dancing heels.
Inverting & Climbing
Prerequisite: Pole Level 1
Pole inverting refers to the movement of flipping upside down while holding onto the pole. Climbing involves using both upper and lower body strength to ascend and descend the pole using various grips and techniques. This class focuses on these movements typically involving strength conditioning exercises targeting the core, arms, shoulders, and legs to develop the necessary strength and flexibility required for executing these maneuvers safely and effectively.
Full Flexibility

Our Full Body Flexibility class will guide you through a journey of improving your overall flexibility in a safe and supportive environment! This class focuses on gentle stretches and exercises aimed at enhancing flexibility in all major muscle groups. From gentle yoga-inspired movements to targeted stretches, you'll learn techniques to increase flexibility in your back, legs, shoulders, and more. No prior flexibility experience is required—just bring your willingness to learn and improve.
